3 seriously injured in 2-car crash in Prescott area

PRESCOTT, Ariz. (AP) – Authorities say a teenage driver and two adults have been seriously injured in a two-car crash in the Prescott area.

Prescott police say Monday‘s accident occurred on State Route 89A and Granite Dells Parkway.

They say a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old girl from Prescott Valley left the roadway and crossed the center median for an unknown reason and then collided with a pickup truck.

The truck was occupied by a man and woman who are both in their late 60s and believed to be residents of Chino Valley.

Police say the all three people had to be cut out of their vehicles and airlifted to hospitals with serious injuries.

Their names and conditions aren’t immediately available.
