380 lbs. of pot seized at port of entry

SAN LUIS, Ariz. – U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers found 380 pounds of marijuana stored in the trunk of a car.

Officers say the driver, a Mexican national, came up to the San Luis port of entry and the officer noticed a strong odor of pot.

The 38-year-old suspect was referred to a further inspection. Officers then found several bundles of marijuana in the trunk of the man’s Chevy sedan.


The drugs almost had estimated street value of $200,000.
