50 year old man assaulted

YUMA, Ariz. – A man was sent to the hospital with injuries after he was assaulted Sunday night.

Yuma Police Department (YPD) officers say, 50-year-old, Matthew Robles was found on the ground in the area of Santa Maria Way and 13th Avenue.

Robles was first taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center but was later taken to a Phoenix area hospital for medical attention.

Officers encourage anyone with information about this case to call YPD at (928) 373-4700, Detective Melissa Norred at (928) 373-4686, or 78-Crime at (928) 782-7463 to remain anonymous.
