“American Idol” contestant arrested in Yuma following domestic violence incident

YUMA, Ariz – Corey Clark, a  contestant on season 2 of “American Idol”, is being held at the Yuma County Jail after being arrested Wednesday for felony domestic violence.

According to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, Clark was arrested on failure to comply with a court order and aggravated harassment.

Clark was in court on Thursday where his bail was set at $20,000.

His wife was in the courtroom during the hearing and was represented by Amberly’s Place who addressed the court on her behalf.

Clark’s next court hearing is scheduled for September 28th at 1 p.m.

He is better known for supposedly having an affair with Paula Abdul, one of the judges on “American Idol”.
