BRAWLEY, Calif. – Over 40 artists and about 50 vendors are making noise to promote art and friendship.
Organizers say they do this the first Friday of the month at the North Plaza in downtown Brawley.
They promote their art and music in the evening.
There’s something for everyone.
Organizers say it’s a great way to break the monotony of the work week.
“It brings the community together in a positive sense. Everybody’s busy with their weekday so they can kind of focus on this one night of the month when they don’t have to worry about things,” says organizer Anthony Alvarez.
Over 100 pieces of art is put on display and sale at the Brawley First Friday art events.
