Border Patrol agents seize loaded firearm, drugs, cash

 

Blythe, Calif. – Blythe Station Border Patrol agents and a canine team seized 11 pounds of marijuana and confiscated a loaded handgun Tuesday.

Border Patrol Yuma Sector said the drugs were valued at $5,650. The bust happened during a traffic stop near Ehrenberg.  Agents also confiscated a loaded handgun and $914.

Agents turned over the vehicle’s occupants, both U.S. citizens, and all contraband to the La Paz County Sheriff’s Office.
