Bright light above Arizona Saturday

Tucson, Ariz.-A strange light lit up the sky in Tucson and all of Arizona around 7 p.m. on Saturday night. As of now there is no definitive answers to what it was, but here are some suggestions.

Several speculated that the object may have been a rocket. Some suggested it may have been a comet or other celestial object. The Kern County Fire Department says it was from a test rocket at Edwards Air Force Base in California.

There are reports from the Los Angeles Coast Guard that the U.S. Navy at Point Mugu launched a missile test. The Coast Guard confirmed that it was a missile test.
