YUMA, Ariz.- Over nine months ago the Yuma community was shocked to hear Stewart Vincent Wolfe Creative Playground had burned down. Now, official’s say they are ready to build again. The little over a million dollar project will be paid for by insurance. This has allowed the park to be completed in a timely manner. The expected completion will be in December almost a year after the fire occurred.
June Wolfe the widow of Steward Vincent Wolfe was at the ground breaking event. Wolfe also had this to share about the park being rebuilt,”Vince would have been very proud you could say tears from heaven today.. right for our rain that we never have…but, something like this its a joy and its keeps him in our hearts even more so than usual”.
