Crossroads Mission is asking for donations for Homelessness Awareness Month

YUMA, Ariz.-November is Mission Month. The Crossroads Mission goal is to raise 100,000 dollars and 100,000 pounds of food.
Wednesday, at the Albertson’s on 32nd, Crossroads Mission hosted a Turkey Drive where they were accepting donations all day long. Their next Turkey drive is on November 18th at Walmart on Pacific Avenue. They serve three days of Thanksgiving and three days of Christmas, which is about 1000 meals per day.
They are asking for the community’s help by donating non-perishable items, frozen turkeys and cash donations.
The Mission has a calendar of suggested food donations, for example, November 5th, they are asking for 10 pounds of potatoes.
On Friday and Saturday, November 6th and 7th, Crossroads is inviting the community to come out to Citizen’s Title on 4th avenue and 16th street and fill up a grocery bag for the Mission.
