Driver crashes into tractor in Somerton

SOMERTON, Ariz. – A man was taken to the hospital after he crashed a van into an agriculture tractor.

Somerton Cocopah Fire Department officials say the tractor stalled on Highway 95 just outside of Somerton Thursday morning.

The driver of the van was taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center with neck and back pain, numbness on his left side, and a cut to this forehead.

Fire crews had to use the jaws of life to cut the tractor in two so that tow trucks could remove it from the road.
