ECPD: Suspected robber cuts man’s throat

EL CENTRO, Calif. – A suspected robber cuts a man’s throat with a box cutter according to police officers.

Police officers say Anthony Perez is suspected of attacking the man with the box cutter and stealing the man’s wallet Monday night.

Officers say the victim was able to describe the suspect and point in the direction he ran.

Police used a night vision camera on a helicopter and a K-9 officer to find the 28-year-old suspect shortly after the incident in a nearby neighborhood.

Perez was arrested on robbery and attempted murder charges.  The victim’s condition is unknown.

Mexico, where he did most of his elementary school education. He finally landed in El Centro, where he graduated from Central Union High School in 2005. Eduardo is currently a student at Imperial Valley College. You can find Eduardo hanging out in the Imperial Valley and Yuma with his family on any given weekend.
