Facelift opens boat ramp at Yuma’s Paradise Cove

Paradise Cove, a hidden gem to locals – just west of the West Wetlands Park, continues to make the area more accessible to the public.

In just two months, the boat ramp went from being overgrown to completely cleared out and ready for use.

Even when we stopped by to look at the boat ramp, avid boaters were stopping by to check it out.

The boat ramp was built in teh early 1990’s, but vegitation quickly took over the area.

A couple of other clean up efforts are still scheduled at Paradise Cove. But, officials say the parking lot, walking trail, and boat ramp are all ready for use.
