FLORENCE, Ariz. (AP) – Authorities say a Florence man is in custody on suspicion of 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Pinal County Sheriff’s officials say 26-year-old Aaron-Caleb DeCook is being held on $100,000 cash bond.
He was arrested after a four-month investigation that began with the discovery of images of child sexual abuse that were being traded online from an address in Arizona,
A Texas detective first encountered the images in September 2014 while working with an agency assigned to combating online child exploitation.
The investigation was sent to a special agent with the FBI working in Arizona’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Authorities say the agent was able to pinpoint the location of the suspect’s computer in Florence.
It was unclear Friday if DeCook has an attorney yet.
