YUMA, Ariz. – Frontera United striker Donal Landrum was chomping at the bit to get healthy and help his team against FC Tucson on Wednesday.
Unfortunately, he didn’t get the clearance to play (because of a groin injury); and Frontera would fall short in that match.
Fast forward two days later, and Landrum’s clearance would make a huge difference. As Frontera had it’s rematch against the Arizona Sahuaros, Landrum would put two goals into the back of the net in a matter of minutes, giving the home team the 2-1 lead.
Even though Fabian Guiza would add a goal to Frontera’s effort, the game would end in a 3-3 tie.
