Gas station robbed at gunpoint

YUMA, Ariz. – Scary moments Sunday evening for a Chevron store clerk during an armed robbery.

Sunday afternoon the Yuma Police Department responded to the report of an armed robbery at the Chevron on Fourth Avenue and 20th Street.

Police say the clerk describes a white male in his 30’s with a handgun, who got away with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no injuries reported during the incident.

Our cameras were rolling at the scene while police investigate, we spoke to a Yuma Police Department Lieutenant about what they know so far.

Lt. Don Willits said, “At 5 p.m, we responded to the report of an armed robbery, the clerk says it was a white male in his 30’s with a handgun. At this time the suspect is still on the loose. We will update you with more details and a more thorough description of the suspect once that information is available to us.”
