Halloween Carnival and Zombie Zumba party at YMCA

YUMA, Ariz- The YMCA has held Halloween events for several years and this year is no different. This year YMCA will be hosting a Halloween Carnival and Zombie Zumba for everyone to come out and enjoy.

Deann Lyda who’s a Zumba instructor and Business Manager at YMCA said, “We’re expecting several hundred attendees. It’s open to the whole community so it’s not just YMCA members. Everybody is welcome. You can bring your whole family, your neighbors, your kids, just no pets.”

You might want to bring extra cash for the several food vendors that will be in attendance.

Lyda adds, “We’ve got hot dogs and hamburgers. The Julio Hawaii club is going to come out and do their teriyaki chicken pork bowls so that’s going to be delicious.”

However there are some things that are also free of charge.

Lyda said, “We’re going to have trunk or treat. The elks next door that we share the building are going to host. We’re going to have a fire truck a dunk booth with marines in it. We’re going to have lots of different carnival games, bounce houses, and then it concludes with Zombie Zumba.”

There will also be a costume contest for each age group. The Halloween Carnival will be going on from 5-8 p.m. and the Zombie Zumba will be going on from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the YMCA parking lot.
