Honduran national murder suspect faces judge

YUMA, Ariz. – Francisco Hernandez, one of the two men accused in the murder death of an Honduran national who was working as a day laborer faces a judge.

A new prosecutor has been assigned to the case and it was said in court there could possibly be new discoveries.

Hernandez is expected  back in court in about 60 days.

27-year-old Honduran national Emmanuel Alvarenga-Navarrete was found dead near avenue 9 ¼ E and Highway 95 back on January 20, 2016.

19 year-old Jose Sorto is also a suspect in this case.
