BRAWLEY, Calif. – Imperial County residents can now report potholes and other road concerns if they wish.
The Imperial County Department of Public Works launched a new tool for residents to report on the conditions of roads, streets lights, graffiti and more.
According to AAA’s website, pothole damage cost U.S. drivers $3 billion annually. They also state that the average repair bill for pothole damage is $306, with the majority of the cost going to tires, wheels and suspension.
Brawley resident Malina Vantassel says, “I think it has a lot to do with farming, definitely the tractors and diesels coming through town has a lot to do with the road. If we can get it fixed, I think that would be awesome.”
