Local experts recommend flu vaccine as season begins

Each year, hundreds of thousands of Americans in the U.S. catches the flu, while more than 200,00 are hospitalized from related problems.

Local experts stress it’s never good to assume what you have is a cold.. when it could.. be worse.

Experts say aches and pains you may be feeling are typical of flu symptoms.

At least 145 children died from the flu this past flu season. But, that actual number is probably much higher since many flu deaths are not reported.

Despite many people claiming to be against flu shots as they are often not the strain that’s going around, doctors recommend the shots are in your best interest.
