Officers say Ernesto Aguinigia also admitted to sending inappropriate text messages to other students from Carpe Diem High school.

Police say the 30-year-old, who is an assistant to the school principal, made the advances between September 2015 and April 2016.

The Carpe Diem High School employee was arrested and booked into the Yuma County Detention Center Thursday.
