Man arrested in fatal stabbing at Glendale apartment complex

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) – Glendale police say a 32-year-old man has been arrested in the stabbing death of another man.

Police say officers responding to a reported stabbing Saturday found 27-year old Miguel Adame of Glendale fatally wounded at an apartment complex. He died at a hospital.

According to police, a patrol officer later spotted a vehicle matching the description of one that left the homicide scene. Police later spotted that vehicle, stopped it and detained three people.

Police said a passenger, 32-year old Jeffrey Lee Kirby of Glendale, was arrested.

According to police, Adame was stabbed after he and Kirby argued in a parking lot about disputed property.

Kirby remains in custody after being jailed Sunday on suspicion of second-degree murder. It could not be immediately determined whether he has an attorney.
