Man found dead after recreational vehicle overturns

PHOENIX (AP) – Authorities say a man is dead following an accident involving a recreational vehicle that was traveling on the Loop 101 freeway in west Phoenix.

The Fire Department says firefighters found the man dead inside the RV dead upon their arrival at the scene along the southbound Thomas Road off-ramp Thursday morning.

State troopers are investigating the accident.

Department of Public Safety spokesman Raul Garcia says victim was a Surprise man and that his wife was driving behind the RV in another vehicle and reported seeing “erratic driving behavior” before the RV rolled.
