Officer Ratcliff is leaving behind a legacy

Saturday morning, friends and family remembered Timothy Wayne Ratcliff.
Lieutenant Arturo Proctor said, “One week ago we lost a brother, a son, a husband, a father, a grandfather.”
Tim is survived by his wife of 30 years Jennifer; his 3 children: daughters, Kristen (Andres) Muro and Caitlyn Ratcliff, son, Matthew Ratcliff.
Matthew Ratcliff said, “I love my dad.”
Kristen Muro said, “My dad was always there for me, I will miss going to his house and having him saying ‘What’s up, sis?'”
Caitlyn Ratcliff said, “I want everyone to remember my dad as a great man.”
Many friends shared special memories, there were laughs and a lot of tears. Even if you didn’t know Timmy as his friends called him, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
Proctor said, “We are thankful and grateful for sharing your life with us. We are grateful for the precious children you nurtured.”
Officer Ratcliff will be remembered for his tremendous service. He has been part of the department for 14 years.
There was a time he had people in the back of the police car and to made sure they had food, he went through the Mcdonald’s drive through.
Proctor said,
“They were really happy and I had to ask, “Was it a happy meal?”
Ratcliff’s oldest daughter, Kristen Muro, described her father as a wonderful dad and grandfather to his three children and grandchildren.
Ratcliff will be remembered by his loved ones– as a man who was always willing to help others and loved spending time with his family.
Alex Gonzalez said he would like to extend the thanks from the family for all the outpouring of condolences, love, support and all the acts of kindness.”
