PHOENIX (AP) – The death of a man whose body was found in a parked vehicle is being called a homicide.
Phoenix police say the body of 50-year-old Oscar Andujo was found Monday after a resident called police about a parked vehicle with an unresponsive man in the back seat.
Sgt. Trent Crump says the vehicle’s owner was contacted. The owner said Andujo borrowed the vehicle Friday evening and was last heard from late Saturday evening.
Crump says Andujo’s injuries were consistent with a homicide and that his body apparently was loaded into the vehicle’s back seat.
The vehicle was found on a residential street near North 75th Avenue and West Osborn Road.
