Police list possible charges for road rage incident driver

YUMA, Ariz.  – A driver tied to a road rage incident in Yuma over the weekend has been identified. The Yuma Police Department identified the man as 51-year-old Lee Schismenos.

Police say Schismenos may face several charges, including assault, disorderly conduct, threats, endangerment and impaired driving.

Officers said Saturday at about 12:29 p.m. officers responded to the 2300 block of S. Pacific Ave. in reference to a disturbance.  The disturbance was later determined to be over an earlier traffic related incident between the driver of a 1999 Silver Honda Accord and the driver  of a 2009 Orange Yamaha motorcycle.

The initial investigation revealed Schismenos, the driver of the Honda Accord, exited his vehicle and struck the driver of the motorcycle, a 24-year-old male and pushed the passenger of the motorcycle a 21-year-old female.

During the physical altercation Schismenos received an injury to his ankle and was treated at Yuma Regional Medical Center and later released.
