Rural/Metro employee arrested on sexual charges with a minor

YUMA, Ariz. –  A former police officer and Rural/Metro employee was arrested after Yuma Police Department (YPD) officials say he had an alleged sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl.

Forty-one-year-old Brian Wolgamot is being charged with seven counts of sexual conduct with a minor. Officers say he was arrested and booked into the Yuma County Detention Center Thursday.

The relationship happened between December 1, 2015 and April 2016, according to YPD.

Wolgamot is a former Cocopah police officer and currently worked for Rural/Metro.
