Salvation Army broken window under investigation

YUMA, Ariz. – Police are investigating a broken window at the Salvation Army on the Big Curve.

Salvation Army Assistant Manager, John Casarez, was the first to find the window Saturday morning and contacted the Yuma Police Department (YPD) immediately.

Casarez said he has an idea of what may have done the damage, “When I arrived to work I saw the door was broken and there was glass in front of the store. It was either a .22 or a high powered air gun.”

Once police arrived on the scene they found no signs of forced entry and found nothing had been stolen.

The window has since been repaired and the Salvation Army is still up and running.

Police are still investigating and we’ll be updating the details as they become available. If you know any information, you are encouraged to contact the YPD at (928) 373-4700.
