San Luis man who stabbed neighbor still not competent enough to stand trial

The San Luis man accused of stabbing his neighbor is still not competent enough to stand trial.

Juan Salcido is undergoing a restoration of competency and did not appear in court today.

The education program will help Salcido understand what’s happening in court and help him make rational decisions when it comes to plea bargains.

A result is expected in the coming weeks.
