IMPERIAL, Calif. – Classes at Imperial High School were cancelled Monday after the school received a threat on social media.
According to a notice issued by Superintendent Bryan Thomason authorities are currently investigating the credibility of the threat.
The notice advised students and staff not to go to school.
Imperial police and school officials say they will not comment on camera.
Thomason says they hope to resume classes Tuesday.
All other schools in the district continued classes as usual.
