Shots fired in Yuma neighborhood

YUMA, Ariz. – The Yuma Police Department said it’s investigating a shooting that happened Monday night.

Officers said the shooting happened on Ninth Avenue and 11th Street.

When officers arrived on scene they found shell casings. So far they haven’t reported any injuries or damages.

Police are also investigating who fired the shots. They do not have a suspect(s) description.

Officers believe there were about six shots fired.

The investigation is ongoing.
