Soup cook off for Crossroads Mission

YUMA, Ariz.-
The third annual soup cook off to benefit the Crossroads Mission was Saturday at Yuma’s Main Squeeze. It was the largest cook off so far with 14 different soups from all over the community. There was live entertainment as well and all the money from the event goes to the Crossroads Mission. Fred Earle, the owner of Yuma’s Main Squeeze says why they decided to have it this time of the year. “This is a tough time of the year for all non-profits in Yuma. The mission the food bank and so we just thought this is a great time the year to do something like this coming into Thanksgiving to give them a little extra, so they can help a little extra.”
