Victor Arriola will be appearing back in court Tuesday at 1:00pm. He is facing 7 charges including attempted first degree murder, aggravated assault on a police officer and possession of dangerous drugs among other charges. He is held on $100,000 bond. This began at around 2:20pm on Saturday when a Yuma Police Officer approached 49 year old Victor Arriola in an alley way between Colorado Street and 1st Avenue. According to investigators Arriola ran off, jumped over fences and raced through residents backyards. He made it 90 yards before the police officer caught up to him. Arriola reached into his pocket for a small caliber pistol, the police officer used his taser and apprehended Arriola.
