Suspect in criminal trespassing into an off duty police officers home learns charges
YUMA, AZ- Isaac John Rico, the man who prosceutors say broke into an off duty police officers home on the 2700 Block of West 26th lane- stood before a judge Monday to hear his charges.

Rico has five counts- One count of criminal trespassing…a second count of attempted burglary…a third count of possession of burgulary tools…a fourth count of possesion and or use of a dangerous drug and a fifth count of possesion of drug paraphernalia.

 

The home owner who is also a YPD officer found three people trying to break into his home. Investigators say he shot one of the suspects in the arm.
Rico ran off and suspect number three, Jennifer Brullo, was arrested shortly after. Shortly after the crime, neighbors described what they say.

 

“I heard the loud noise and I heard the sirens.” “There were police cars that had the streets blocked off on both ends. And they had caution tape up blocking the streets.

Rico’s bond is set at $140,000 cash only and his preliminary hearing is set for April 17th.
