“THREE CARD MONTE” SCAMS YUMA COUNTY RESIDENTS

On Wednesday January 28th, several residents at the Foothills Village RV Resort and the Blue Sky RV Park in the Foothills fell victim to the “Three Card Monte” card scam. The suspects managed to scam them out of hundreds of dollars. One victim was told he could double his money during the game, so he told the suspects he was going back to his RV to get more money. The suspects followed him. According to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office as he left the RV with the large sum of money a suspect robbed him of the cash. The Sheriff’s Office says they are looking for 6 to 8 suspects described as white males between the ages of 45-70.
