Two teens back in court after allegedly damaging vehicles

YUMA, Ariz- Two teens suspected of damaging a car owned by a City of Yuma employee appeared in court Tuesday afternoon.

Nineteen year old Claudia Guerrero faced her charges- Two Counts of criminal damage and one count of harassment.

The second suspect, Kassandra Lopez was also charged with two counts of criminal damage and one count of harassment.

Yuma police say an anonymous tip led to the arrest to both Guerrero and Lopez.

YPD says they’ve had a similar instance like this take place back in July, but aren’t sure if the cases are related in any way.

Security camera footage shows two Hispanic women damaging the car back on September 19th around 1:30 in the morning.

Guerrero’s preliminary hearing is set for October 14th and Lopez’ preliminary hearing is set for October 15th.
