YUMA, Ariz. – A person was bound and assaulted by three men who forced their way into an apartment, according to police.
The assailants are described as two Hispanic men and one black man.
Officers say the incident happened around 3:30 a.m. in the area of Third Avenue and 18th Street. The victim heard someone knocking at their door. When they answered the door, the three men forced their way into the apartment. The men bound and assaulted the victim and demanded money. They later left the apartment and left the victim bound.
Yuma police officers say they where notified about an hour later when the victim was found, still bound, by a friend.
