Yuma County Public Fiduciary Candy Ruby said, “The numbers keep rising every year nobody really knows who to talk to or where to report it. If you’re concerned if something doesn’t look right if there’s a red flag we want to know where you can get information about it.”
Yuma Regional Medical Center and Yuma County Public Health will be offering medical screenings, free flu shots to Medicare members.
Ruby says elder abuse is happening, but its not always being reported. The numbers keep rising every year nobody really knows who to talk to or where to report it. If you’re concerned or if something doesn’t look right, we want to know where you can get information about it.
Ruby says most of the time the abuse happens from a family member.
