YUMA, Ariz. – The Arizona Department of Public Safety said a Yuma man died after the tractor-trailer he was driving rolled over on Interstate 8. DPS said the incident happened Friday at about 4:30 a.m. just east of Tacna, Ariz.
Officers said the driver, 48-year-old Ramon Rendon of Yuma, Ariz., was driving a truck-tractor rig, hauling a load of drywall, eastbound on I-8 when he lost control of his vehicle.
The tractor-trailer then ran across the eastbound lanes of traffic into the median. It then exited the median and ran across the westbound lanes of traffic. The tractor-trailer then ran off the road and rolled over. Rendon died at the scene.
