Yuma principal gets makeover of a lifetime

YUMA, Ariz. – A Yuma elementary school principal got the makeover of a lifetime Tuesday afternoon.

Principal Eula Baumgarner  from Desert Mesa Elementary School can often be seen in the hallways wearing a crown and a beautiful robe and today the queen got quite the royal treatment.

With more than 45-years of service to School District One in Yuma County, she isn’t showing signs of slowing down anytime soon. She knows all her students by name and on their birthday they are invited to have lunch with the queen (Principal Baumgarner).

One local mom, Natasha Herzig said, because of Baumgarner’s amazing service to the school and Yuma’s youth she  had Tina King donate her hair services for the makeover.
