YUMA, Ariz. – On Saturday Yuma held its Relay for Life. According to coordinators of the events there were over 1300 participants. Together they raised $210,000 to help fund cancer research. The money will not stay directly in Yuma as it will be distributed nationally; however, the money raised will help local patients get books, wigs and other resources such as that. The American Cancer Society is still excepting donations for this year through August.
