Yuma vehicle theft suspect on the loose

YUMA, Ariz. – The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect wanted in connection to a vehicle theft in Yuma. YCSO said the theft was reported on April 1, 2015. Deputies responded to the 900 Block of S. Palm Ave. in reference to a stolen vehicle. When they arrived the reporting party told them the vehicle was taken at night.

The vehicle was later found on April 10, in the area of County 13th Street and Avenue B 1/2. The vehicle was spray painted black to change the original appearance.

Deputies said evidence left at the scene lead them to the Wal-Mart on Pacific Avenue. That’s where they found surveillance video of the suspect.

The suspect is described as a light complexion male, 5’9” – 6′ tall, 165-180 pounds and was last seen wearing a beanie, plaid shirt and blue jeans.
