Yuma veteran inducted into Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame

YUMA, Ariz. – A Yuma Army Veteran is one of twenty inducted into the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame this year. Manuel M.Rodriguez served in the U.S. Army for two years and deployed to Vietnam in 1966.

He also taught junior high social studies in Wellton, Gadsden, and 4th Avenue Junior High for more than 40 years. Rodriguez was also the director of Yuma Adult Basic Education program.

After retiring from education, Rodriguez  was elected commander for the Arizona Disabled American Veteran from 2010 to 2012.
